We prefer to describe what we do rather than make claims we cannot measure. These principles guide product, formulation and packaging decisions across the group.

- Considered material selection
- Raw materials are chosen for what the application requires, and we avoid specifying more than the job needs.
- Reducing unnecessary packaging
- Pack sizes and formats are matched to how products are used, so that users are not sold more container than product.
- Responsible formulation choices
- Where a less hazardous ingredient can deliver the required performance, we prefer it.
- Product longevity
- The right lubricant or treatment extends the working life of equipment. Helping things last is the purpose of much of what we make.
- Efficient application
- Applicators and dosing are designed so that the right amount reaches the right place, with less waste and less excess.
- Technical documentation
- Clear usage guidance, technical data and safety data sheets help products be used and disposed of correctly.
- Continuous improvement
- Products, packs and processes are revisited as materials, knowledge and the group’s capabilities develop.
As the group grows, we intend to report on these areas with the same care. Until we can measure them properly, we will not put numbers to them.
